The Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) celebrated its 175th anniversary with its valued Chinese-Filipino clients through this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival, honoring the generations of relationships, shared values, and successes that have shaped its journey with the community.
Guided by the theme “Beneath the Same Moon, Along the Same River,” the celebration reflected the spirit of the Mid-Autumn Festival—the full moon symbolizing togetherness, and the river representing continuity as traditions, values, and relationships are passed from one generation to the next.
For BPI, the celebration was a meaningful reminder that its partnership with clients goes beyond banking. BPI is honored to be part of their lives and journeys—from supporting their families and personal aspirations to standing alongside businesses that create jobs, strengthen communities, and contribute to the country’s economic growth.
“As I look around this room, I see businesses that have been built not just over years, but across decades and, in many cases, generations. Each has its own story. But I believe the businesses that truly endure share something in common: they remain grounded in the values that define them, while continuing to evolve with the times,” said TG Limcaoco, BPI President and CEO.
He added, “For 175 years, BPI has adapted, innovated, and grown alongside the communities and businesses we serve. But what endures is trust. Over the years, we have built that trust by standing alongside our clients through change and helping them prepare for what comes next.”
The celebration also highlighted the shared journey of BPI and the Chinese-Filipino community—one built on family, entrepreneurship, hard work, and long-term relationships.
As BPI looks ahead, it remains committed to being a trusted partner to its clients, helping them embrace new opportunities and build something lasting for the generations that follow.
